Decorated endpapers. A second volume by number was not published, but in the following year the author did pubish THE INDIAN TERRITORY: Its Chiefs, Legislators, and Leading Men, which Howes (O3) says is another edition. Rader (#2497) cites only the 1892 edition. The main text is illustrated with portraits, photos, and small vignette engravings. The last little section is not. Among the leaders this last section gives information on is Quanah (sic) Parker, Granny Houston, Ko-Mul-Tah, Wild Horse, White Horse, Cora Caruth, Big Tree, and Laura (Kiowa). Some pulling / separating of signatures and cracked open a little following the front black leaf after the ffep. I have don't a minimum of closing a couple of these spaces. Rebinding with the same baords would be useful for investment purposes, but is not necessary for reasonably careful reading. A good copy wear to cover corners and toe/foot of spine.
