Anthology of poetry by screenwriter, short story writer, and poet Lionel Wiggam (1915-2005). Many of the selections were first published in The Saturday Review of Literature, Harper's, The New Republic, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and other publications. Of man, Wiggam writes, "He climbs a hill and turns his face/Impudently into space/He builds a tower that he may climb/Higher still, and measure time/.
