First edition, first printing. 128pp, profusely illustrated in full colour. Cream cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 4to. Cloth just a little rounded at corners and spine ends. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Kupka (1871-1957) was a Czech painter, graphic artist and illustrator who moved from realism to abstract art and became a pioneer of Orphism - Orphic Cubism.
