Ivory cloth, titles stamped in dark red and black on the cover and spine, red endpapers: no detracting qualities. In the color illustrated dust jacket: price intact on front flap, upper edge chipped including a missing piece the size of a finger, short closed tear to rear panel, rubbed. This volume closely followed on the first exhibitions outside the Soviet Union for the playful underground duo, two widely publicized shows of smuggled paintings at the Feldman Gallery, New York, in 1976-77. Includes works from the SotsArt and Post-Art series. In his preface Nathanson writes of meeting Vitali Komar and Aleksandr Melamid in Moscow while studying mathematics as an exchange student, and how he helped mount the shows.
