Kodru, the Monkey was written by E. Cadwallader Smith and illustrated by Anne Vaughan. The book was published by Alfred A. Knopf in 1941 and is a stated First Edition. It's a rebound (in nice, sturdy, pictorial boards) ex-library copy with no dust jacket but only in good condition with library markings, library wear, and an occasional finger smudge. It is 6 1/4" by 9 1/2" and has 58 pages. This is a fantasy, of sorts, involving monkeys, and written for the older primary student. The story looks good, and the art work IS good . . . both color and black-and-white . Thank you!
