With unclipped dust jacket, free from nicks and tears. No inscription very clean throughout, with slight fade to page edges. A humorous novel based on the return of the Irish hero, Sir Roger Casement, who died a traitors death in an English gaol in 1916. Casement returns to haunt the Irish Republicans of Northern Ireland in the period before the peace talks, with the aim of knocking a few heads together and showing the terrorists the error of their ways. Carson's rich and poetic story captures both the essence of Ireland and the spirit of the times. Hilariously realized, profoundly moving, it is a novel of wit, wisdom and humanity.
