London, Methuen & Co. Ltd., 1925 (first edition). Quarto, [vi], 17 pages with 22 vignette illustrations by Ernest Shepard. Contrasting quarter cloth and pictorial papered boards; endpapers offset; contemporary gift inscription (27 September 1925) on the front free endpaper; a near-fine copy with the slightly chipped pictorial dustwrapper. The title song first appeared as a poem in 'When We Were Very Young' (1924). 'For this separate publication Mr. A.A. Milne has written a special and very amusing [four-page] Introduction. The work also contains a new song "Feed-my-Cow," for which Mr. Fraser-Simson has composed the music' (dustwrapper). Seller Inventory # 135326
