By the author more famous for the beloved Oz books, this story was first published in Dec. 1904 issue of the women's "service" magazine, the Delineator, & then fell into obscurity (aside from appearing in one anthology in 1915). Now, it has been brought to life for new generations of readers with fresh illustrations by Richard Rosenblum for the enjoyment of new generations of readers! Unpaginated. A FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1969, this hardcover has green woven cloth over boards with bright red design to front/red lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: extremely clean & crisp, binding strong & straight, hinges secure, pages white & completely unmarked. Very mild bumping/rubbing to corners & spine tips. NO DJ (missing). Our photos depict the exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have!
