Basis for the 1941 black and white film directed by John English and starring Frances Gifford and Tom Neal. Jacket: General wear and tear all over, small rips in front top, corners, top of spine, rear top and bottom (see photos). Inside jacket fading and tanned (see photo). Book: Boards have discolouration both sides, a tilt to spine and pushing to spine edges (see photos). Pages: Still well shaped with fading and spotting to outside face edges (see photo).
