The Journal of Popular Film, Volume 3, No 4 - Fall 1974. Quarterly journal published by Bowling Green University Press, 1974. Edited by Sam Grogg Jr. Essays and reviews on current and vintage films. The table of contents page is included in the attached photos - some highlights of the issue are: essays on 'Holywood's Cold War', Aesthetics of Form and Convention in the Movie Musical, and Latin Image in American film. Contributors include, Allen Woll, Calvin Pryluck, Lesley Brill, Timothy Scheurer, Russell Shain, and Ian Jarvie. 6" X 9". Paginated consecutively with previous issues so this issue runs from page 278 to page 372. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Saddle stitched binding - with two staples in the center. No creases to the cover or spine. This is not a library discard copy. The attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory. There are a few ads in the issue, so mailing will be via USPS Ground Advantage, not Media Mail.
