About this Item
xxvii, [3], 369, [1] pages. Dated and signed inscription by the translator/editor to George Lichten. Note that curious handiwriting of Jacob Sloan, the correction of the word, "thanks" More important this copy was given to Joseph Lichten, not George Lichten. Why in the world would the eminent Jacob Sloan make such an error? In any case, the book was given as a gift to Joseph L. Lichten, whose biography you can find online. Lichten (1906-1987) was a Polish-American lawyer and diplomat known for his contributions in interfaith relations between Catholics and Jews. Seller Inventory # 008457
