About the Author: Robert Rosenblum is the Stephen and Nan Swid Curator of Twentieth-Century Art at the Guggenheim Museum and Professor of Fine Arts at New York University, as well as a contributing editor to Artforum. He is also the author of a number of books. He lives in New York City.
