: Wheel Toy Books #1263-15; Color Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 12 pages; [1950] Samuel Lowe Company. Oblong format HC with die cut shaped boards and pages and heavy card, die-cut color wheels attached with metal grommets through the front cover. No author credited nor copyright information provided. Color pictorial illustrations on the 12 pages all have "Pollard" signed in the work. Trace shelf rubbing to bottom front corners; the wheels and other die cut edges are very sharp and neat. Small dime sized light spill stain to cover board. Rear board has publisher list of 8 titles in this Wheel Toy Book series, all priced at 15 cents. Few copies of this "mechanical" series and none of this title in collections searched by Worldcat. The front board illustration has "Ice Cold Lemonade" lettered on the umbrella over the small jeep. Quite uncommon. VG+.
