1951 to 1969. First editions. Varying pages (roughly 10 to 30) in the individual reports with black and white or two-tone illustrations. This is a scarce run of nineteen annual reports of The Jane Austin Society, covering the years 1951 to 1969. As well as containing reports of the Annual General Meeting and financial reports, there is much fascinating information with illustrations about Jane Austen, her work, and the times she lived in. Some of the information will be difficult, if not impossible, to find elsehwere. There are also some loosely inserted newspaper articles, letters, etc. The reports are staple bound in paper or card covers and in varying condition but mostly very good. The staples on the earlier reports are rusted and the reporty for 1951 is lacking the staples leaving the pages loose. There is some shelf wear on the covers and the spine ends and corners and some have a name neatly written on the front cover. Seller Inventory # LitAusten045
