Review
The first half of this pocket-sized book covers the basics, with step-by-step instructions on everything you will need to know from choosing an Internet service provider to building your own Web site and the second part is a condensed listing of Web sites to get you going.
The style of this smart book is very refreshing. Kennedy does not mince his words and his guide is likely to turn you into a net guru in next to no time. This updated edition is packed with practical advice including the latest on MP3s, information on how to log on while you are on the road and also includes a concise potted history of the Web.
If Tony Blair was serious about getting the UK online he would insist that everyone got a copy of this book in their Christmas stockings. --Justin Hunt
