"The purpose of these tests in geometry is to help you determine from time to time what progress you are making in the study of geometry. The purpose of each test is to inform you of how well you have learned the part of the subject covered. You can then tell what additional work you need on any part of the work before going on to the next part. Look upon these tests as a means for helping you to learn more effectively, not just as examinations on what you have learned." ------ from the Foreword to the Student.
