A splendid catalogue prepared by Leo Olschki (as revealed by Walters' preface). The book is most attractively produced in imitation of the style of some of the books catalogued, with the title page and section headings printed in red & black.Full calf imitation medieval binding, with raised bands, title stamped in gilt, with top edge gilt. Colour frontispiece, and illustrated with reproductions of woodcuts. The books described -over 1100, from some 300 presses - include works in Latin, Greek, Hebrew, French, Italian, German, Dutch and Spanish. With 5 indexes.
