Grey wraps in very good condition. The 171 year old wraps are lightly age soiled. Inscribed by the lecturer/mayor George Washington Warren on the front cover - "Sam Hobbs Esq with the respect of G. W. Warren". George Washington Warren was a Massachusetts attorney, jurist, and politician who served as the first mayor of Charlestown, Massachusetts from 1847 - 1850. He was a member of the Whig Party. He was born in Watertown, Massachusetts and graduated from Harvard College in 1830 and later from Harvard Law School. He was an attorney by profession. Very rare pamphlet especially signed by G. W. Warren. This is the inaugural address for Mr. Warren's first year (1847) as Mayor of Charlestown. 26 pages.
