Disbound pamphlet in self-wrappers. Light toning and/or foxing, mostly on wraps and blank endpapers. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 27 pages; Speech on the importance of education to civilization. Thomas Curtis was a Baptist minister whose family established the Limestone Springs Female High School near Spartanburg. He was the first President of the Teachers' Association of South Carolina.
