iv + 31 pages + 10 plates, Original Binding of embossed brown thin card binding fair/poor detached, edge worn, tear, held by cello tape, lacks spine. Contents lacks title page, starts page iii to page 22, lacks pages 23/24, then page 25 to 31 (end page). Contains 10 plates lacks plate xi. Ex. Library of St. Georges Hospital Library so numerous old round St. Georges Hospital Library stamps throughout. All pages & plates detached with edge wear/loss, a few with foxing or staining. Contains endpages, no inscriptions. He was also the author of A Treatise on Rheumatic Gout, or chronic rheumatic arthritis of all the joints . Illustrated by woodcuts and an atlas of plates. published in 1857, then in 1873. Printed base of plates is Drawn by nature & on stone by I. Connolly, also Printed by Hullmandel & Walton ( or just Printed by Hullmandel . Charles Joseph Hullmandel opened in London in 1818. Responsible for numerous technical developments, including lithotint and colour printing. In partnership with Joseph Fowell Walton from about 1845; the imprint Hullmandel & Walton continued in use until about 1860. So undated, but published c1857. Incomplete and only fair/poor condition it is extremely rare as at time of listing could not find another copy listed on the net and therefore no other copy for sale.
