A bright, clean, tight copy sans flecks, tears, stains, and discoloration. "Only the author of the widely praised books 'The Crowd in the French Revolution' and 'The Crowd in History' would dare undertake a short book that not only discusses most of the important rebellions and revolutions in Europe, Latin America, and the United States from the thirteenth to the nineteenth century, but does so while expounding a radically new theory about the role of ideology in these uprisings." 176 pages.
