Hardcover. First Edition. ISO 1400 and ISO 9000, This is a practical 'hands-on' description of how companies can implement a comprehensive system to meet the requirements of the ISO 1400 Environmental Management Standard and the ISO 9000 Quality Management Standard, in addition to the health and safety regulantions, and other public and product safety and general liability requirements. Written by the leading authority in this field, it anticipates the Phase Two revisions of ISO 9000 and provides complete sets of generis documentation including a Quality Manual and all the environmental registers and manuals. The author also takes account of the 'backlash' against the ISO 9000 certification process which uses checklists of documents to please inspectors rather than implementing real quality improvement schemes. Throughout the book, advice is given on introducing good, comprehensive systems rather than producing sets of bureaucratic documents. By presenting an integrated approach to the standards covering quality, health and safety and environmental issues, the author has once again provided managers with an important reference and guide. 278 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. Academic and Scholarly books and Modern First Editions ,and all types of Educational Reference Literature.).…
