The book also examines their calculation and presents computer programs that calculate their probability distribution and other distributions. There is coverage of sampling, and among the other topics discussed are hypothesis testing; regression, both simple and linear; and problems related to life testing. Also included is a diskette of 35 programs for the IBM PC, giving exact answers or approximations where appropriate.
