221pp. (cream spine). Folio sized. 2013. First edition. A very good, clean, tight copy in good jacket. Original publisher's textured burgundy boards - gilt embossed to the spine. No inscriptions. Numerous colour photographic reproductions from the diary with a reproduction of an illustration by G.D. Armour as a colour frontispiece of Charles James Cropper. A lovely, tight, clean and crisp copy. The head and tail of the spine bumped and the lower front board corner a little bumped. The jacket has not faired as well. Some moisture damage with one notable stain to the verso with tide-marks measuring 15cm x 11cm. This stain can also be partly seen to the front of the jacket, but only really to the rear panel and a little to the head of the spine. Fortunately none of this moisture has in any way damaged the book or its boards. There are several other faint stains to the verso of the jacket and some creasing to the front panel of the jacket caused by the drying of the moisture. There is a 2cm tear to the tail of the front panel of the jacket with some thinning and slight loss. A few other slight soil/stain marks to the rear panel. A very good, clean, tight copy in a good jacket. The ISBN number for the title is printed as: 0954919104. Seller Inventory # 240439
