Item description from seller

See photos for condition details. Hardcover, original beveled brown cloth boards with gilt design on spine. Exterior shows quite a bit of scuffing and soiling with the worst being the top spine edge which shows chipping and fraying. Internal binding is good, no hinge issues at boards. Dark brown end pages and pastedowns in front and rear. Front pastedown contains original owners bookplate showing the name of J. Bryon Whitebread. The opposite front end page has a few chips along the edges and he could just make out where a price was penciled in the upper right corner. No other handwriting or markings found in the book, no library markings present. Page 21 has a tear with a small chip in the upper right corner which also has some crimping to the paper.
