February 1827. 16 page in double column, making 32 pages as printed complete weekly issue with articles and letters inc Charles Lamb to the editor + the Late Duke of York article with woodcut on cover + instance of a black man fathered of a white man and relating his experiences in a tavern (short and touching and truthful). Complete as one week’s issue good. Loose as originally issued, but with stab holes at spine due to having been bound in the past.

Store description

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.…
