Item description from seller

Ten captioned black-and-white photographs by American photographer (1932-2026) Duane Michals accompanying ten poems by the Greek poet C.P. Cavafy, with Michals' contributions intended not as illustrations of Cavafy's work but as "separate and sympathetic" explorations on the theme of gay love. [48]pp; b&w plates. Sewn in plain white wraps; printed vellum wrapper. "Anthology Film Archive" stamp to base of textblock, else very good in a jacket showing the usual irregular toning, save for an untoned sticker ghost to front panel.
