Boards have wear to spine head, tail and side and to front edge and a mark to front with some rubbing. Internally there is decorative tooling to edges, marbled endpapers, a contemporary inscription 'To Ellen from I.T. Hood, January 1870' to front free endpaper, else very clean, tight and unmarked. All edges gilt. 222 pages.
