Brown cloth on boards with blind stamp decoration to board edges and spine. Gilt lettering to spine. Moderate bumping to extremities and light sun fading to spine and spine edges of boards. Hinges are cracking but secure. Otherwise, generally clean and tidy throughout. Tissue protected colour frontis plate. Further black and white plates and illustrations within the text. 2 pages of advertisements for publishers books at rear. Some pages are uncut.
