Pictorial hardcover with clear dustjacket. A charming classic. Filled with reproductions of Potter's own handwritten story lines, b&w sketches and gorgeous colour plates. Also contains letters between Potter and Warne, her publisher. Book is like a privileged peak into Potter's working life. This copy has only a few small scuff marks on intro pages. Mylar DJ has a few splits near the top, front and back. Book is very attractive all around. None of my books are ex-lib., remainders or bce unless specified.

Store description
I have an eclectic mix of vintage and antique children's books, as well as a good mx of general fiction and non-fiction covering many tastes from humour to thriller. I also have a growing collection of vintage paperbacks and will soon be adding to my inventory. I am crazy about vintage kid's books with their bright, cheerful covers and classic illustrations and stories. I love to match a book with a customer and am extra happy when the customer is happy.
