First edition, Condition; Original paper Dust Jacket good with foxing, minor loss, torn at edges then held/stuck in plastic cover to protect it. Grey hard back binding very good with original paper labels to front & spine both in very good condition. Contents mostly very good, clean & tight, the odd minor edge mark or edge foxing/discolouring not affecting text. The page numbering is extremely confusing with many illustrated pages not numbered, there is hundreds of black and white illustrations, and many dozens in colour & a few hand coloured, (some both printed colour with hand colouring) from their books, including the other 14 colour &/or hand coloured pages within the book. To inside first endpage are two pencil inscriptions ?Enid Marks copy? and little below ?EM? , there is also loose a piece of paper with a basic ink note supposedly in her hand, but we are unable to confirm either is by Enid Marx. Has a full title page at front & a printed b/w colour title page of ?The History of the Catnach Press and The Two Catnachs? at first un-numbered page before page 1. Very rare in such good condition and with Dust Jacket, please see all our scans/photos of this book, we were unable to find another copy for sale as good/complete as this one.
