Illustrated with portraits and facsimile signatures. Not ex-library. . No jackets as issued. Boards- brown leather, maroon moire cloth triangular design with gilt border front, gilt bands and letters on spines. Spines faded, corners and spines bumped, rubbed through on corners. Leather flaking. Volume 2 has 4" tear low spine back at hinge. All volumes- moderate shelf wear, rubs, scuffs. Bindings- intact, square. Marbled end papers. Pages- gilt top edges. Light edge toning.
