About this Item
A clean and crisp hardback first edition (1911) without a dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. There is some vertical creasing to the spine (see image), and a bit of foxing and tanning to the front and rear endpapers, but the green boards are clean and sharp, the binding is sound and secure and the contents are clean and bright. By modern standards, the typeface is rather small, and the double columns on each page do not add to the ease of reading. Overall, a very good hardback first edition without a jacket.
