First edition, 1962. The dates on the title and copyright pages concur, 1962. 8vo. 118 pages. Illustrated with diagrams. Footnotes. Bibliography. Index. Cased in reddish-brown cloth with all stamping in white. No dust jacket. The only signs of previous ownership is a small strip of correction tape affixed to the front free endpaper. Not a library discard. A sound copy in very good or better condition.

Store description

The Friends of the Salem Public Library Bookstore, located inside the central library building in downtown Salem, Oregon, sells donated books and other print and non-print material in order to raise funds for children's literacy programs at the Salem Public Library. Our Friends organization, founded in 1957, is a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt and 509 (a)(2) public charity. In addition to our bookstore and regular bi-yearly book sales, the Friends have been selling books online since February 2004.
