In this volume the author has traced in simple outline Henry Moore's development as an artist, beginning with a biographical account of his origins and education, and proceeding to a stage-by-stage analysis of the developments of his style. The sculptor put himself at the disposal of the writer and the result is an authoritative biography of one of the greatest of living artists by one of the world's leading art critics, **The book has light tanning. The jacket is price-clipped and has some shelf rubbing at the edges.**.
