Hardcover. Condition: NEW. Dust Jacket Condition: New. 1st Edition. This book is an attempt to enlarge upon the details of a number of individual VC actions and other significant events in the lives of the men concerned. The men whose biographical details appear here are not all Welshmen. They are, however, all connected with Wales either by birth, residence, death or military service. It brings together all the known biographical details and, where possible, provides new insight into the VC actions themselves. Each of the 39 entries is profusely illustrated with photographs and diagrams, many of which have never been previously published. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
