Dell 18649. Eighth in the series. As-new, unread mass market paperback. No creases, although the small letters "PS&S-2" have been rotostamped twice to both the top and bottom page edges, presumably by the distributor; meaning unclear. States "First printing -- January 1986." Originally priced U.S. $2.50 / Can. $3.25. Carl Ramm -- along with Randy Striker -- was a pen name (1984-1986) of Randy Wayne White, author of the Doc Ford novels, who for 13 years operated as a light-tackle fishing guide at the Tarpon Bay Marina on Sanibel Island, until the federal government closed Tarpon Bay to powerboat traffic, in their ongoing campaign to shut down small businesses everywhere. Not immediately clear whether the "ruthless D.C. terror" in this one involved Nancy Pelosi and Jerrold Nadler, or rather Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray. 175 pp. Reduced from $35.

It’s just past six a.m., and the Rutledge family is gathering for breakfast, unaware of the two bombs that have been planted outside their home. They’re about to start eating when a fireball bursts through the windows, and the house is blasted to dust, leaving only one survivor. In the last six weeks, the Rutledges are the seventh family to be attacked—and the onslaught is just beginning. A terrorist group is intent on bringing the citizens of Washington, DC, to their knees. But James Hawker will teach the victims to stand up and fight.
A radical student group is behind the bombings, which are just their first step in an all-out campaign of terror. After years waging a nationwide war against organized crime, Hawker fears no terrorist. On the battlegrounds of Washington, the world’s most dangerous vigilante will fight to the finish.
Terror in D.C. is the 8th book in the Hawker series, but you may enjoy reading the series in any order.

Terms of sale
Email vin@catscuriosities.com. For return and refund information see Abe Books policies. Delivery of parcels to Africa, Latin America, and Asia (except Japan and Singapore) can be problematic. We urge prospective buyers in these regions to contact us in advance to determine if secure shipping can be arranged. Delivery to a relative, business associate or consular official in North America, Europe, Japan or Australia is often the best option. In our experience, deliveries to Italy and France take at least three weeks, regardless of shipping method; we cannot control Customs delays in those countrioes. NOTE: Cat's Curiosities sells used books. We attempt to identify books which have a damp or musty smell, when we sell them at all. Otherwise, while our books are currently stored in a temperature-controlled, smoke-free location, buyers should assume our used books have previously been shelved inside human habitations and have been exposed over the decades to some combination of wood smoke, tobacco smoke, leather dressing, or other aromatic agents unknown to us. We offer no certificates of hypoallergenic purity. Those wishing to make symbolic gestures of support for the prohibition of tobacco and other medicinal plant extracts should apply elsewhere.
