Inscription on blank front free end leaf reads in full: " To / Calvin Wilson / in memory of a delightful meeting / on a Summer's Day, which I / sincerely hope will be repeated 'fore / long / Nial Rankin / 1948." Volume shows light foxing on fore edge and light signs of age. Dust jacket shows scattered tears on edges, with some paper loss over spine ends. Jacket remains clean, and is now in a clear protective sleeve.
