About this Item
A volume celebrating the 200th anniversary of the perfection of multiple-block color printing in Japan. One of the oddest bindings I've seen: hard covers around a spiral wire binding! Plates reproduced in black-and-white, unfortunately. Still, a nice book with some interesting comments on early Japanese color artists. Cover smoke-stained from a fire in 1968, spine browned. Interior in excellent condition -- previous owner's name and date/place of purchase on front pastedown. Seller Inventory # 201265
