A good hardback first edition, first impression, in a clean pictorial dust jacket which has not been price-clipped. No previous ownership names. There is some quite marked foxing to the top edge, and some more minor foxing to the fore edge, but the blue boards are clean and sharp, the hinges are sound and secure and the contents are clean and complete. The dust jacket is clean but has a bit of shelf wear: it is a little creased and chipped at the extremities, with a one inch tear in the bottom left-hand corner of the lower cover. Overall, a good hardback first edition in a slightly shelf worn jacket, but with some heavy foxing to the top edge and a tear to the jacket. Collated and complete. This item will be properly packed.
