Happy Teeth(or, How To Keep Your Teeth), Words and Pictures by Mildred E. Swift, was published by T.S. Denison & Company, Inc., in 1977. Not an ex-library copy, this 8 1/4" X 11", 36-page, thought-to-be First Edition offering is in VG- condition. This book, at age 34, is physically almost like new, crisp and firm, and is rated fairly high by me, despite the presence of a previous owner's last name, printed in black marker, in the upper right corner of the front cover board. From author's Foreword, "The main purpose of this book is to help children become aware of what can happen to teeth, and motivate them enough to want to take care of their own teeth. Teeth should be 'For Keeps'. " From Granny Tu Tu's lips to God's ears, for it is Granny Tu Tu who provides all of the very clearly presented information of how best to keep your teeth clean on a daily basis, in easy flowing words and sentences, complete with the many timely Illustrations, done in attractive blends of black, yellow, and gray, by our author/artist. Offering also features a brief "Pointers for Parents" section at book's end to further help parents assist their children in developing strong dental hygiene habits now, so as to prevent potentially serious, and, how well I know, extremely expensive problems down life's long, winding road. Thank you very much!.…
