Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Smith, Betsy (illustrator). First Edition. Boards have bumping to the corners, a small patch of fading at the top of the spine and few small dents to the bottom edge. Page edges a little browned with scattered spotting to the top edges. Gift message in pen on front free endpaper. Slght browning to the pages with small creases to the bottom corners of four pages but the pages are generally otherwise clean and unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has a half inch ragged closed tear at the top of the spine and chipping at the corners. The front panel has a half inch closed tear to the bottom edge. The rear panel has some brown stains, a one inch closed tear at the top, another closed tear at the bottom left corner and a small nick to the bottom edge. Illustrated by Betsy Smith. First printing.
