Leather bound. Condition: Good. Early Edition. 9 3/8 X 11 3/4 Inches. [VOL I: 523 PP][VOL II: 519 PP.]. Stated "Third Edition" complete in two volumes. Period leather with marbled boards. Volume one contains the engraved title-page and 11 engraved plates, but seems to lack the frontis portrait of Washington. Volume two contains the engraved frontis and title as well as 30 engraved plates. Top right corner of page 111 torn in margin. Light foxing and some plates. Binding is lightly rubbed. PO inscription to front of each volume. An attractive set, despite the apparent loss of one frontis engraving. Seller Inventory # 5744
