191 pages. 8" x 10.75". "The semi-automatic target pistols produed by High Standard, always a favorite with discerning shooters, have more recently begun to attract the attention of collectors. However, little information has appeared in print concerning the most interesting High Standards - those pistols produced form 1951 through the demise of the company in 1984. In this ground-breaking book, author Tom Dance answers the questions being asked by today's collectors. From Citation to Supermatic, all of the production models and specials are covered according to model number or series, making it easy to understand the upgrades and evolution which occurred over time. Also included as a special appendix is the breakdown of production quantities and volumes for the various guns produced - information painstakingly deciphered by the author from High Standard's encoded company records." Excellent. A Fine copy with only light use.
