First edition. 8vo. 48pp. In modern wraps with label on front. A2 torn at lower blank margin with loss of paper, not affecting text. Leaves clean and bright with head and tail piece and an illuminated initial. Ebenezer Latham was a non-conformist minister and tutor. He Ran a number of schools during his life and tutored hundreds of students. Here, Doctor Latham argues that all great superpowers, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Jews and even the English, fell when they lost sight of the divine power of God. ESTCN3598.
