The 16pp of text by Robbins constitutes the first monograph on thi s very fine Pacific Northwest artist, often mentioned in the same sentence with Mark Tobey, Morris Graves, and Kenneth Callahan. This work is also the first significant publication of Robbins', produc ed during his first stay in Seattle, in the mid-1960s. He had been working for a short while as the art critic for the Seattle Times.
