Illustrated. 12 pages. Cover title: "Golf at the Thousand Islands". Undated, circa 1928. Although a joint American and Canadian venture on Canadian soil, the Directors all have US addresses. The temporary clubhouse has been built and the A. W. Tillinghast designed course is in play at the time of the printing and funds are sought for a proper clubhouse. Although this club was only accessible by boat, it did not seem to aspire to be the rival of the Thousand Island Club nearby on Wellesley Island, where initiation the fee in the 1920's was 100,000 US dollars. Still in existence. BOUND IN GREEN GRAINED CARD COVERS WITH RED ST. ANDREWS CROSS DECORATION, THIS BOOKLET COMES IN ITS ORIGINAL GREEN GRAINED CARD MAILING ENVELOPE WITH LAID IN APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP SHEET. All in fine unmarked condition.
