"From "upcountry" to "down east" and all points between, from rugged shores to tranquil inland vistas resplendent in autumn foliage, 'Greeting From New England' invites the reader to visit this region so loved by all America, celebrated gloriously through early twentieth-century picture postcards. The postcards, lithochromed and hand-tinted in exquisite detail, also chronicle the places and events of this bygone era-even showing the people who shaped this emergent era in New England history." Over 300 color postcard illustrations with accompanying descriptive captions and passages. 112 pages. A near fine/very good, bright, clean, tight copy. Minor bumping to top and bottom of DJ spine. 3/4" closed tear (neatly scotch-taped) on DJ rear cover. *NOTE: Due to size and weight of book additional shipping may be required for out-of-U.S. shipment in accordance with destination. GD3.
