First printing with rare first state jacket. Nice copy. Unmarked, tight and square. Basis for film which starred Paul Newman and Henry Fonda. Publishers logo shown on half title after title page. Scarce. First state jacket with photographer's name spelled Krangler and two line bio of Kesey on rear flap. Jacket has closed tear about 1 1/4" inch long at bottom of front panel, light to moderate edgewear and tiny chip on rear panel at top. A clean copy. In mylar. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
