Publisher's red cloth lettered in gilt to spine, typographic dust-jacket designed by Brian Russell with printed price of 18s to front flap. Minimal splitting to hinges, light toning to edges of textblock, bumping to base of spine, wearing to jacket extremities, toning to top of rear jacket panel. Very good. Edith Mary Pargeter (also known by her pen name, Ellis Peters) was an English author, and was best known for her murder mysteries. 'The Grass Widow's Tale' follows the story of Bunty who is left alone on the eve of her 40th birthday; after her husband leaves on urgent police duty, she realises how much she values her life and her husband.
